In 2021, Nibbles was the only rescue able to help over 30 mice living in misery—unwell, breeding, and fighting in a mixed-sex group. No one else said yes.
For the past two years, we’ve had no choice but to close our rodent cabin. Without enough funding, we’ve been forced to turn them away—despite knowing there’s nowhere else for them to go. With your support, we could help them again.

Since late 2022, we’ve been fighting to keep Nibbles open in the face of rising costs and falling income. We’ve cut back on everything we can. But we cannot and will not compromise on animal welfare — and that’s why we’re now facing closure.

Every day, we turn animals away because there’s simply nowhere for them to go
Without urgent and sustained support, our remaining funding will run out by 31st December 2025.
And when that happens, we will be forced to close our doors — permanently.
Nibbles is the only specialist rabbit and rodent rescue in South West Wales.
If we close, there is no one else to step in.
