We’re very sorry, but we are no longer able to accept any further rabbits or rodents into our care.

Due to a long-term lack of sustainable funding, Nibbles is currently set to close permanently on 31st December 2025 unless we can secure enough monthly support to continue. Because of this, we can no longer offer safe or secure placements to any new animals.

We must prioritise the welfare of those already in our care—ensuring they find loving homes—while avoiding placing additional pressure on already overwhelmed rescues across the UK if we are forced to close. Taking in more animals now, knowing we may not be here in 2026 to support them, would be irresponsible and unfair to both the animals and the wider rescue community.

We know this may be upsetting to read, and we wish things were different. If you need to rehome an animal, please refer to our Responsible Rehoming Guide for advice on how to do so safely and ethically. We hope it will help you find the right way forward.
